Chanda L. Rogers, Esq
Chanda Rogers focuses on the practice of family law . Chanda considers her decision to practice family law a natural choice. Her parents are divorced and have re-married several times, and she is adopted by her father. As a result, Chanda has a real life understanding of how her clients’ decisions affect their lives and the lives of their children. She is driven to keep conflict at a minimum while simultaneously protecting and advocating for her clients.

Professional Leadership
Chanda is a member and past president of the Nassau County Bar Association, a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, and a member of the Robert M. Foster Inn of Court. She was nominated to the Professionalism Committee of the Washington Bar Association. She chaired the Nassau Committee for the Family Nurturing Center, which established the Nassau County location, and serves on the Nassau County Board for National League of Junior Cotillions, where she speaks each year to students about dressing for success.
Chanda has been appointed twice by Governor DeSantis to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, serving Nassau, Duval, and Clay Counties. In this role, she participates in selecting candidates for the Governor to appoint as county and circuit court judges, bringing her deep knowledge of the local legal community to the process.
A longtime advocate for those in need, Chanda has served Micah’s Place as an advocate for victims of domestic violence for over a decade. She previously ran the free family law clinic sponsored by Jacksonville Area Legal Aid for nearly a decade and continues to participate in it today.

Community Involvement
Chanda is a member of First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach, where she serves on the Personnel Committee and teaches 4-year-old Sunday School. She has also taught etiquette classes, chaired her women’s circle, and chaired committees at her previous churches. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, reading fiction, ballet barre, boxing, and cooking. Her greatest joy is to feed loved ones.
